The Miss Universe Indonesia (Puteri Indonesia) 2010 is Nadine Alexandra Dewi Ames.
She won the title in a glittering ceremony attended by Miss Universe 2010, Jimena Navarrete from Mexico. Nadine Alexandra Dewi Ames was crowned as Puteri Indonesia 2010 on October 8th in Jakarta.
Nadine Alexandra Dewi Ames (born May 23, 1991) is an Indonesian beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2010 and will represent her country in the 2011 Miss Universe pageant.
Born in Winchester, England to a Welsh father and Javanese mother. The family moved to Jakarta when she was two months old. She spent most of her childhood in Jakarta, being schooled in North Jakarta International School and Gandhi Memorial International School, she also took modeling course in OQ Modelling School, Kelapa Gading which open her way to take role in Indonesia soap opera Inikah Cinta.
At the age of 16 she moved back to England and studied in Steyning Grammar School. Ames is currently a student at Bath Spa University, majoring in Film and Screen studies.[3] She is fluent in English and French. She has one brother who is seven years older.
Ames, who stands 1.71 m (5 ft 7 1⁄2 in), competed as the representative of Jakarta SCR 4,[4] one of 38 finalists in her country's national beauty pageant, Puteri Indonesia 2010, held in Jakarta on October 8, 2010, where she became the eventual winner of the title,[5] gaining the right to represent Indonesia in the 2011 Miss Universe pageant,[6] broadcast live from São Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011
